ChipsAway franchise operations were originally launched in a number of States in Australia in 1996. While the original Master Franchise business went into liquidation in late 1998, a number of the newly ex-franchised businesses continued trading independently in NSW, VIC and SA under the umbrella of Automotive ChipsAway Australia.
Following an application by ChipsAway International to re-register the ChipsAway trademark in Australia, the remaining ChipsAway businesses have agreed to give up their use of the ChipsAway trademark and to undergo a trading name change. We are providing the same high quality and professional and timely service as always, just under different names! Over the next few months we will be changing our vehicle signwriting, uniforms and business stationery to reflect the new business names.
The Adelaide based business is now trading as ChipsAdelaide (www.chipsadelaide.com.au);
In Sydney, the business is now called ScratchMagic (www.scratchmagic.com.au)
In Melbourne, the business is called Auto PaintFix Australia (www.autopaintfix.com.au);
